The Bakerloo Line runs diagonally from Queen's Park or sometimes from Harrow and Wealsdtone in the northwest to Elephant and Castle on the south side of the Thames River. The Edgware Road station on the Bakerloo Line is reached by the entrance in this handsome old red tiled building.

There is a large black and white sign reading EDGWARE ROAD STATION spanning the roofline of the building. Above the entrance white on blue sign gives the full station name: BAKERLOO LINE - EDGWARE ROAD STATION - BAKERLOO LINE .
