Long Description:
This off leash dog park is within the confines of Central Winds Park, City of Winter Springs. The park will cease to exist in September of 2007, at which time Winter Springs hopes to have a permanent "Hound Ground" off-leash dog park somewhere within the city. It offers 3 enclosed areas with some shade and lots of grass, as well as automatic dog water fountains.
It isn't my favorite dog park, as most of the shade that is provided is from erected tent-like shelters, but it is a clean and safe environment for folks to loose their hounds for exercise.
Level of Enclosure: Completely Enclosed
Description of Enclosure: Each of the three areas is fully enclosed with 6' chain link fencing and double gated entrance areas.
Kid friendly: Kids all ages (strollers on up) welcome

 Provides Poop Bags: yes
 People washrooms: Non-flushing toilets

Visit Instructions:
To log this waymark, you must be able to prove to the waymark owner that you were at the park in question. This probably means a photo. The photo must be identifiably at that park, so having your GPS in the photo might not be a bad idea (alternatively you may include a recognizable landmark)
If you have a dog, photos of your dog having a good time would also be appreciated.
