The historic Union Station on the western edge of downtown Ogden is a great place to catch a lot of commuter rail action.

Over 25 FrontRunner commuter rail trains pass by in each direction each weekday and there are 12 each direction on Saturday, but none on Sunday. While waiting for a train to pass there are numerous historic locomotives and other railroad rolling stock to peruse in the open-air exhibits at the south end of the station. There are restaurants, museums, and other attractions inside and outside the station plus you are at the western edge of the historic district of downtown Ogden.
