En opération depuis 1830, le bâtiment actuel a été construit en 1876. Il s'agit d'un des plus anciens marchés publics du Québec. Au cœur du centre-ville, un marché public ouvert à l'année. À l'intérieur, sept marchands (fromagerie, boucherie, fruiterie, saucisserie, charcuterie, poissonnerie, boulangerie, pâtisserie, en saison, crème glacée et sorbet) offrent un service personnalisé dans un décor chaleureux. À l'extérieur, de mars à novembre, s'ajoutent des producteurs de l'érable et par la suite, des maraîchers de la région.
HORAIRE : Lundi au mercredi de 9 h à 18 h, jeudi et vendredi de 8 h 30 à 21 h, samedi de 8 h 30 à 17 h 30, dimanche de 9 h à 17 h.
À PROXIMITÉ : Au 2e étage, Expression, centre d'exposition de Saint-Hyacinthe (gratuit). Tout près, 150 boutiques et magasins, plusieurs restaurants, parcs et la rivière.
In operation since 1830, the current building was built in 1876. It is one of the oldest public markets in Quebec. In the heart of the city centre, a public market open all year round. Inside, seven merchants (cheese, beef, fruiterie, butcher shop, deli, fishmonger, bakery, patisserie, in season, cream ice and sherbet) offer a personalized service in a warm decor. On the outside, from March to November, add producers of Maple and subsequently fresh fruits & vegetables from the region.
OPEN: Monday to Wednesday from 9 h to 18 h, Thursday and Friday from 8:30 to 9 pm, Saturday from 8:30 to 17:30, Sunday from 9 h to 17 h.
