The hospital was founded in 1842 as the first hospital for children in Stuttgart. It is named by the former queen of Württemberg 'Olga von Württemberg' since 1849. The actual building has been built in 1974.
There are 350 beds for patients. They medicate about 15,000 patients each year. It's the biggest hospital for children in Germany.
