Sort of newish non-coastal boardwalk at one of our local parks brought to you by Eagle Scouts. The boardwalk traverses a yucky-marshy-watery area full of mud and other nasty things.

There are two of these things. This is the longer of the two. Hurricane Sandy made quick work of the other one and now it is not really passable, at least not if you ant to stay dry. The woods back here are about .86 or so miles in a loop with three different trails. This boardwalk allows hikers and joggers to cross to the other side of the woods which is cut by a swampy area which sometimes is a creek and others, what we have here, a wet, yucky mess. I ma sure bug and toads love it! There are several geocaches back here as well. There are about 250 planks, with each board about 4 inches or a total length of 1000 inches also known as 333 or so feet long.
