This is an exact replica of an ancient Roman Altar. It is located at a park called 'Mittlerer Schlossgarten' in Stuttgart, Germany, Baden-Württemberg.

The origin altar had been found in Öhringen. It can also be visited in the 'Württembergischen Landesmuseum' in Stuttgart.

The altar had been created in the year 231 for the inauguration of a water pipe of the first Septimic Cohorte.

There's a plaque with some details.
