This benchmark is located along the Cascade Lakes Highway about 0.15 miles SW of the traffic circle for Mt. Washington Drive, Reed Market Road, and the Cascade Lakes Highway. The cap is in a large block of welded tuff on the east side of the highway, just west of the paved trail. The U.S. Coast & Geodetic Survey set this cap in 1942 and marked it Y369.

DESCRIBED BY NATIONAL GEODETIC SURVEY 1963 2.5 MI SW FROM BEND. 2.5 MILES SOUTHWEST ALONG CENTURY DRIVE FROM THE POST OFFICE AT BEND, 0.5 MILE SOUTHWEST OF THE ROAD WEST TO THE CITY DUMP, 0.2 MILE NORTHEAST OF THE CREST OF A RISE ON CENTURY DRIVE, 100 FEET WEST OF THE CENTER OF A GRAVELED ROAD, 86 FEET EAST OF THE CENTER OF CENTURY DRIVE AND 6 FEET NORTHEAST OF A METAL WITNESS POST SET IN THE TOP OF A 10 BY 10 FOOT BOULDER THAT PROJECTS 4 FEET.
