The Arena and Aquatic Centre complex was opened on June 20th, 1987. It is located on the west side of 19th Street, on the south side of Highway 3, or Central Avenue. They were add-ons, really, because the curling rink was there first.

The curling rink is directly west of the Aquatic Centre and south of the arena. It is a four sheet rink with both restaurant and lounge facilities. As well, it includes banquet facilities, a viewing area, lockers and equipment storage facilities. The club even houses the "Rock Shop" - a pro shop for curlers who are in need of Brooms/Brushes, Replacements Heads, Stabilizer Delivery Devices, Gloves, Slider/Grippers, Pants, Socks, Shirts/Vests, Stop Watches or Broom Bags
Like any curling club, Grand Forks holds several bonspiels through the winter.
The Grand Forks Curling Club celebrated its centennial four years ago, in 2009, certainly making it one of the older clubs in BC.
