This trail register is located about 100 yards from the trailhead to Schonchin Butte Lookout. The trail is .7 miles long and meanders at a very nice grade which isn't too strenuous of a hike to the summit. There's a very well-maintained fire lookout at the top to greet you and includes informative placards that highlight the spectacular views you will see on the way to the top.
