This is the chapel that was opened by John Wesley in London in 1778, and was reopened, with the Queen present, 200 years later. It is still a vital worshiping church, but is also open to visitors.

Although this is very much an active house of worship, Wesley Chapel is rich in history and is filled with memorials and adorned with stained glass windows depicting the history of John Wesley and Methodism, including many original artifacts such as the pulpit from which he preached.
