This is a doubled sided memorial to honour the 69 Manxmen who fought in the Battle of Trafalgar! They are described as The Gallant Manxmen! It is a stone moument which incorporates a large Anchor shape within it, one side of the memorial lists all 69 Manx men who fought in the battle of Trafalgar with Admiral Horatio Nelson. The other side lists the date and information related to the Battle! It is situated on Douglas head overlooking the bay!
