Harry Relph, "Little Tich", was a music hall performer who was famous in Britain, America and France in the latter part of the 19th century and early 20th century.

Interestingly, it was Harry Relph who gave the word "tich" its current meaning of "small". At 4'6", he was indeed little but at the time he adopted his name "tich" meant fat. [1]

Harry Relph one of 15 (or 16 according to some) children of Richard Relph, who ran The Blacksmith's Arms.

The plaque reads
