Stavba vznikla ve stredoveku, puvodne se jednalo o gotický farní kostel, snad již z pol. 13. století. Presné datum vzniku není známo, známe ale dobu barokní prestavby. V prvé pol. 18. století byla ke kostelu pristavena kaple sv. Barbory. Zarízení vesmes od místního sochare J. Hammera z pol. 18. století.

The building was built in the Middle Ages, it was originally a Gothic parish church, perhaps as early as the mid-13th century. The exact date of origin is unknown, but we know for sure the date of the Baroque reconstruction in 17. century. In the first half of the 18th centuries were added to the church chapel of St. Barbara. Equipment mostly from local sculptor J. Hammer from the 18th century.
