Located on Ray Street in San Diego's North Park neighborhood with other art galleries, this site opened in 2008.
The Gallery's website (visit link) has this to say about itself:

"Our mission is to encourage growth of the arts and enrich the lives of others through artistic means.

With working jewelry studios that engage viewers in the process of creation, we strive to cultivate a new appreciation for the mastery of traditional metalsmithing and motivate consumers to purchase hand-crafted products.

We have shaped the manner of viewing and purchasing of fine art so that each individual becomes a co-creator of the space, providing opportunities for artists to connect to artists and art patrons to connect to quality artists, building a community within. This interactive experience stimulates a naturally healing environment which encourages collaboration and creates inspiration to follow your inner passion.

Our gallery is filled with gorgeous jewelry, amazing hand-made glass and phenomenal featured artists that change every month. Representing emerging and nationally known artists, there is always something new to see and beautiful art available to buy for you or your loved one. Cirello Wholistic Arts Gallery is the cornerstone of Ray Street, located in the center of the Art and Culture district in North Park.

We welcome you to join us during “Ray at Night” – the longest and largest running art walk in San Diego, which takes place on the second Saturday of every month.

Thank you for visiting our site. We hope to see you soon.

Cirello Gallery Timeline:

November 2008 Metalsmith, Matthew Cirello and Oil Painter, Santos Orellanas, move out of their studios at Spanish Village Art Center and open Santos and Cirello Gallery in North Park.

April 2009 Santos opens Santos Fine Art Galleries in North County and Matthew Cirello becomes sole proprietor rebranding the space into Cirello Gallery.

December 2009 Jasmine (Metalsmith) apprentices under Matthew, working together to promote local artists, develop the Cirello brand and grow the community around the center of art.

August 2010 John Gibbons (Glass Sculptor) moves to San Diego to become a resident artist, building his own lamp torch glass shop inside the gallery.

February 2012 Cirello Gallery expands, creating 3 new working studios.

May 2012 Sarah Stieber (Oil Painter) becomes a resident artist, completing her biggest commissioned painting for the Marriot Downtown in the space.

November 2012 Jordan Cantwell (Oil Painter) becomes a resident artist, painting a new collection for his January 2013 show.

March 2013 New jewelry studios are installed to enable other metalsmiths to rent bench time and allow visiting instructors to have workshops within the space."
