Flag Poles WWII Monument - Palm Springs Air Museum - World War II Memorials / Monuments on Waymarking.com

Visitors to the Palm Springs Air Museum might notice a marble plaque flush with the ground and in a circular area near the entrance to the museum. The plaque reads:

The seven flag poles for the Palm Springs Air Museum are made possible by a contribution from Robert C. and Nani S. Warren These flag poles with the flag of the United State and the standards of all United States Air Services, are dedicated to all those veteran airmen who served their country in World War II

The U.S. Flag stands in front of this plaque in the circle. The remaining six flags are from left to right: Army, Marines, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard and the California state flag.

Be sure to spend some time here and pay the admission fee. It's worth the price and you will be amazed at all the aviation history that exists in this museum.
