LaSalle Park is a great place for viewing the wildlife by day but an even better place for viewing the Hamilton Skylight at night. There;s something special about seeing those lights shine across the bay. I've often looked out at this skyline and image that this is how Vancouver must look (okay, based on a few pictures, I've never actually been there). Hamilton is a good looking city from a distance (not including the industrial core). Looks even better at night!
There is plenty of free parking at the bottom of LaSalle Park Rd). I have included a parking waypoint. It's a short easy walk from the parking area, in fact you might just enjoy the view from your vehicle if you prefer.
