Ghost Town’s 3 zip lines are manufactured and installed by Beanstalk Builders in NC. The zip lines are: 1. Quick Draw - 325 ft.(99 m) 2. The Bullet - 480 ft.(146 m) 3. The Holster - 190 ft. (58 m) Instead of using hand brakes, Beanstalk Journey’s zip lines use a “Peter Pan” landing, which means that the zip riders use their feet and walk to a complete stop on an upward slope. The zip lines are different than most others because children as young as 4 years old can participate. There is a weight limit of 250 pounds, closed toed shoes and appropriate dress for the weather is required and you cannot participate if pregnant. There is a 10 minute hike - equivalent to four flights of stairs - up the mountain to begin the zips. More lines are planned in later stages of development at Ghost Town Zip Lines beginning in the 2013 season.
