Der Soletrinkbrunnen wurde im Rahmen des Ausbaus des Badebetriebes im Jahre 1906 errichtet.
Dieser Soletrinkbrunnen ermöglichte Kurgästen, hier eine Trinkkur zu absolvieren. Die Trinksole wurde durch eine gesonderte Leitung mit entsprechender Filteranlage direkt vom Hauptschacht bezogen.
