A simple flaked granite minument with the colorful Atchison County seal rimmed in Kansas blue studded with KS sunflowers stands proudly in front of the Atchison Co. Sheriff's Office complex next doot to the Atchison Co. Courthouse. It is in a nicely landscaped garden area.
The monument reads as follows:
