This Professional Sports Venue provides motorcycle fans with all the excitement and thrills of Motocross Bike Racing. You can watch some of the world's elite motocross riders in New Zealand when the Taupo Motorcycle Club stages their international motocross events.
The Digger McEwen track is the home of the Taupo Motorcycle Club and is situated right in the heart of Taupo just off Miro St. The circuit is easily found just off the new State Highway at the Broadlands road flyover. The circuit features many obstacles which will see the riders flying high in the air, jumping through the legendary sawdust pits as they battle for their respective titles.
The sports venue hosts several International Events each year and many other events such as the annual Huka Honda Labour Weekend Extravaganza where over 400 of New Zealand’s elite riders head to Taupo to claim their share of the $20,000 prize-money and compete for the prestigious feature race which has been won by top New Zealand riders such as Ben Townley and Josh Coppins.
