While the Cedar City Rotary Club was the main party responsible for erecting the five Veterans Memorials in this park, a great deal of financial assistance was required to completely fund the project. Individual donors, many of them veterans of the war commemorated by the specific memorial, purchased donor bricks to aid in the effort. This Memorial is the newest of the five and the war is the oldest of the five commemorated so there have been very few donors to support this small memorial.
