Benson Atherton, Charles M. Edwards Walter A. Rhue, John Harris Barton.James T. Bozeman, Theodore Edmonson, Otis P. Martin, John W Schell and Thomas Walsch were the "First Stripers". Some very famous journalist were a part of Stars and Stripes.
