This is the 'Schillerplatz' (Schiller's Place), a place in ther center of Stuttgart, Germany, Baden-Württemberg. It is presented on an old picture taken 1905.
On the picture is the monument for Friedrich Schiller visible. In the background is the so-called 'Fruchtkasten' on the rigt side and the reverse side of the 'Stiftskirche', a church, on the left.
The old picture has been taken from the US library of congress.
