This bronze bell tolled for the first time in 1869 at the original our lady of the pillar catholic church located at Pilarcitos cemetery Spanishtown. The church was destroyed by fire in 1879 and later rebuilt at another location. The bell continued to ring until 1954, over what is now known as half moon bay, when the old structure was torn down to make way for the new our lady of the pillar catholic church.

Erected may 1966.

In memory of
Margaret Dutra
1888-1958.
Location: Our Lady of Pillar
