These trash containers are assisting in keeping clean the new redevelopment on the east side of downtown. The new area being developed and revitalized is East Village, new condominiums, apartment blocks and some retail will being to show up here.

The initial placement of these containers is frequent near Fort Calgary to capture potential pedestrian traffic.
