This monument is comprised of a flagpole and a large polished granite slab. The front and back of the slab are identical. The two narrow sides are inscribed with the names of 29 servicemen. It is not clear if these names are those of local veterans who perished at Pearl Harbor or are those of Pearl Harbor survivors who were present when the monument was erected. The monument is located near the center of Vernon Worthen Park next to the gazebo.
