When the Humane Society of Utah built its new building on a new site, the old property, including the Green Pastures Pet Cemetery was sold. All the animals interred at the former site were transferred to the new site. For animals where contact information was still available, the relocated internees were placed in individually marked locations. The remainder were placed in a common grave on which was placed a memorial obelisk inscribed with two passages from the Bible and the following memorial passage:

Laid to rest in the Humane Society of Utah's

1966 - 1989
