This U.S. Lake Survey disk (designated N 31 USLS) is set vertically in the water table on the east side of the brick school house (now Village of Lewiston offices).

The disk is located approximately 4 - 4.5 feet above the level of the ground, 7 - 8 feet from an inset corner of the building.

The mark is in excellent condition, and stamped with the date: 1937.
