The Robertson Plaza in Orange, Virginia features a large fountain where children can play in the intermittent jets of water. A plaque embedded in the perimeter is inscribed:

ROBERTSON FOUNTAIN

A GIFT TO THE COMMUNITY
OF ORANGE, VIRGINIA.
FROM ANNE RUSSELL GWYN ROBERTSON
HONORING HER HUSBAND,
A. STUART ROBERTSON, JR.,
AND THEIR DAUGHTERS,
GYWN, ELLIS, & LUCY B.

AUGUST 25, 2007

Anne Robertson, or Russ as she was more commonly known in the community, and her husband Stuart, known as Robbie, married in 1942 and moved to Orange in 1948. Robbie died in 1983, but Russ continued to be active and supportive of several organizations. In 2007, she worked with the Orange Downtown Alliance to create the landscaped plaza with fountain in memory of her husband and daughters. Russ died in 2011. Lucy B. is the only surviving daughter.

The fountain is located on Short St. in downtown Orange south of the Orange County Visitors Bureau which is housed in the old train depot.
