This multi-sectioned tile mosaic installation features scenes and symbols of Colorado. Included are the state flower, the Columbine; the state animal, the Bighorn Sheep; bald eagles, which winter in the state; bison, which were saved from extinction by Colorado herds; rainbow trout, the state fish; various symbols from the American Indian natives; the gold dome of Colorado's capitol building; trees changing color in the fall; mountain and desert scenes.

The plaque reads:
