The new clock tower is a point of focus for Frederiksted's pier-side area. Passengers of the cruise ships, visitors to the Fort Frederik museum and concert goers for the bandstand all pass by the clock. Pier-side vendors are located right on the boardwalk surrounding the clock tower. High up the tower on all four sides of the tower, the black clock face with Roman numerals is easily seen from a distance. The clock face is immediately below the bell tower.
