Salem invested in more than 30 of these solar compactors a couple of years ago, and has been experimenting with them ever since. They still don't quite have a handle on the concept of of sun and shade, as every one of these that I have seen is in a location that has shade for much of the day. But hope springs eternal. This one would be better off placed about 100 feet to the east, so they are getting closer.
