The ground was broken on Sept. 18, 2012 for this six-storey hotel next to the Grey Eagle Casino. The casino and hotel are both on the land of the Tsuu T'ina (Sarcee) Nation, on the west edge of Calgary.
The hotel will have 178 rooms and a 2,000 seat entertainment center when completed. Since it's on the west side of the city, hotel rooms on the west side will have very nice views of the Rocky Mountains. The casino is also being expanded.
