This Trig point is very hard to access due to a dense thicket of bush which has regrown in the area since the Trig was placed. If there was an access road directly to it, it has since been overgrown and no longer is discernable.
I managed to access this Trig point with a combination of bloodyminded determination and pure luck.
I drove my 2 wheel drive work van along a soft sandy fire trail to as close as I could get to the Trig point and set off on foot in the direction of GZ. It was tough going at first due to the dense intertwined bush and i was just about to give up when i broke through into an area of the bush which had been recently been burnt out in a bushfire.
This made the going a lot easier but i still had to push my way through blackened and burnt branches and i got filthy dirty with soot.
After about 20 to 30 minutes I was thrilled to see the Trig vanes ahead through the bush.
A very difficult find but deeply satisfying. :)
This is my first Trig point Waymark to log and it seems from the map that this will be the first WA Trig point Waymark also.
