Hamilton has a lot of great places for taking in the great views, thanks to it location along the Niagara Escarpment. I have lived here for almost 7 years now and still enjoying driving along Mountain Brow Blvd, Scenic Drive, and Ridge Road. I love to look out across the city and across the lake. It's fun to sit there high above and pick out landmarks - bridges, churches, libraries...I can even see the building I work in. Most of all, I love to see the city all lit up at night. And this is probably the absolute best place in Hamilton for that purpose. It;s easy to get here, free, and you can see west into Dundas, Highway 6 climbing up towards Guelph, Burlington and Oakville spread out on the horizon, Stoney Creek to the East, and of course Downtown dominates the view. Come on Canada Day or Victoria Day to watch fireworks all across the city, or at Christmas to see even more lights! This is a city park with lots of free parking.
