This dolmen is about 1.5m high and has three stones that still support a capstone. A fourth stone which originally helped support the capstone lies nearby. According to legend, Brothers of Guaire, The Four Maols, who murdered Ceallach, king of Connaght, were hanged on Ardnaree or hill of the execution, and finally buried here.
