This US Benchmark is located on the north side of Mud Lane approximately 0.2 mile west of Pioneer Cemetery Road north of Ephraim, Utah.

Described by Coast and Geodetic Survey 1934. 1.8 miles north from ephraim. About 1.8 miles north along the Denver and Rio Grande Western Railroad from the Bank of Ephraim at Ephraim, Sanpete County, 27 feet north of the center of a crossing, and 20 feet west of the track, in the right-of-way line. A standard disk, stamped R 43 1934 and set in the top of a concrete post.

The Denver and Rio Grande Western Railroad track has been abandoned and the right-of-way is now in an enclosed pasture. The mark is approximately 50 feet north of the centerline of Mud Lane and approximately 25 feet west of a farmer's access road that follows the abandoned railroad roadbed.
