At 1580 Bernard Avenue, this Methodist Church is several blocks north of the downtown core. It advertises itself as being a Free Methodist Congregation.

Mainstreet Community Church is now 62 years old and counting, this simply styled church with mostly heavy elements is complemented by a simplified Gothic style tower, ostensibly meant to suggest a bell tower.
There is a granite cornerstone set just above ground level in the brickwork of the tower's south face, at the west corner.
The church can be found on the north side of Bernard Avenue, one block west of Burtch Road. This is a slightly older neighborhood, and the church fits well in its surroundings.
