A new park in the centre of town, Westbank Centre Park includes this dog area, a Community Garden, and a kids' spray park, among other things.

This is actually two separate dog areas, one each for large and small dogs. It's a small park and the dog areas aren't huge, but certainly adequate.
Parking is available just steps from the entrances and a kids' spray park is nearby to keep the kids cool while the dog dissipates his excess energy.
Next door is a community garden, making this a very space & time efficient place - the kids frolic in the water while the dog runs himself to exhaustion and Mom & Dad do the watering & weeding.
