The Gibson County Courthouse is one of the older county courthouses in southwest IN. It was built in 1884 and cost less than $200,000 to build at the time (equal to over $41 Million in current inflation). It was designed by the McDonald Brothers from Louisville, KY and built by a local contractor, Joseph Miller.
The courthouse is located at the intersection of Hwy 64 and Hwy 65 on the town square.
