The boardwalk starts just near the visitor centre at which point it is a rubberised material then converts to wooden planks just before passing under the road bridge. You can view the thick scrub beside the creek & at one point, have a look for platypus in the creek. There is a sign at this point which explains the life cycle & unique features of this unusual creature.
