About 150 AC there was Roman settlement in Wiesloch (vicus) because this was the crossing of two Roman roads (from Speyer to Bad Wimpfen and from Ladenburg to Basel). This stone cellar belongs to a house of the vicus Wiesloch. The ruins were discovered 2,5 km from here and have been moved to the city in 1987.
