This WWII memorial sits on the lawn at the Hopkins COunty Courthouse in Madisonville, KY. The memorial is in front of the building next to Main St.
The memorial is basically a list of WWII veterans from the county, but has the tag line text at the top ...
"To the men of Hopkins County, Kentucky who gave the last full measure of devotion for the preservation of freedom in World War II"
It also has the dates "1941" and "1946" at the top of the plaque as well.
The plaque was sponsored by Madisonville Lions Club.
