Lighthouse along the Oneida River on the Erie Canal system in New York
Waymark Code: WMGJF5

The Brewerton Lighthouse was built in 1917 to aid shipping on the Oneida River coming through the Erie Canal System from Lake Ontario.
The 85' tall brick and cement structure is still operational, though there is much evidence of the ravages of time and the fierce storms that frequent this area.
There is a small riverside park at the base of the tower, with picnic and other facilities. Access is from State Road 37 E/B from Brewerton. There is a large parking area and a bike/walking path that passes directly by.

Range Lights: Front Range Light
