While picking up a geocache we suddenly came upon this remains of human settlement!
It must have been someone’s home once, because the shape of a house is still visible.
Allthough most of the walls are collapsed, a rather big and used chimney is still to be seen and enjoyed. Near the house two old wells can be found which are overgrown bij common ivy (hedera helix). Those made me think of the movie The Ring...)Around the settlement remains of the roof and walls are scattered. Most of the settlement is taken over bij de forest but I guess that the folks who look for the nearby geocache also take care of removing vegetation....
On the internet I was not able to find any information about the history or whatever about the house or the location .
Perhaps visiters do have additional information???
If so, please post!!!
To log your visit as valid at least1 picture of you at the chimney is required. Other additional photos are highly appreciated.

Enjoy this waymark! (and perhaps goodluck with the geocache..> I found it! :-)
