Burrill Lake is renowned for its flathead, bream & whiting. The lake extends approx. 10 kilometres inland & this part is only accessible by boat, being surrounded by regrowth forest. The water is shallow & gin clear.
Small boats (tinnies) can safely pass under the bridge but there is no access to the sea. The ramp has a floating jetty beside it but the pelicans wouldn't move so no photo of the ramp from its edge. There is plenty of parking, a fish cleaning table, a bag limit sign but remember to practice catch & release.
