Long Description:
Petrified Wood Park and Museum SignPetrified wood is abundant in the region around Lemmon, SD, with large amounts still being harvested on nearby range and farm lands to this day. The City of Lemmon sponsors a large Petrified Wood Park and Museum up the street from this sign. The Park is extensive and has many rare and intriguing displays made from the Petrified Wood, as these spires on this sign suggest.
