If you haven't been to the harbour, you haven't been to Manzanillo.
There is a huge contrast, between the hotel zone and the port and downtown area.
Prior to the US sending out warnings for tourists not to come to Manzanillo, cruise ships would dock here and the place would be bustling with tourists aiming for the souvenir shops and Mexican restaurants and liquor stores. Now it is mostly locals and snowbirds (mostly Canadians) who spend their time enjoying the malecon, the port, the pilot boats and the teenagers diving for pennies. BUt most of all, they enjoy the fantastic weather here.
This Waymark was created as a result of a Sailfish Cache placed by ssurfer48, which got muggled three times before it was even logged. Since virtual caches are no longer being posted we opted for Waymarking.
