This boat ramp provides access to the Indian Ocean as well as to the Boat Harbour and Marina.
Six concrete ramps with a catwalk on either side to facilitate launching or retrieval of trailerised vessels are provided. A fee is charged for parking and/or launching in this area and tickets are available from two ticket machines or annual passes are available from the Department's office.
The launch ramp access roads are one-way traffic to avoid congestion. A wash down facility is also provided and maintained on the exit road.
A lay by mooring area is available immediately to the east of the boat ramp.
The Hillarys Boat Harbour was officially opened by the then Premier of Western Australia the Honourable Brian Burke on 15 January, 1988.
